  • Unique cartoon 2D Graphics: Adventure Time meets the Simpsons, a different look and feel to the other P&C games out there.
  • Fantastical story: The five scientists travel in their amazing time-traversing Crystal Submarine from island to island, starting out on a small dock and ending up on the dangerous island of Woolley mountain to find and destroy the evil witch.

Meet the crew

The five time travelling scientists known collectively as The Helmholtz Resonators are an odd
bunch. They can each play the bass, guitar, drums and keyboards, conduct science, travel
through time, but are prone to personality flaws. Let me explain:

About James Lightfoot, the creator

This project means a huge amount to me, it literally is a dream. Two very special loved ones who were very proud of what I had so far achieved on the game, recently passed away, and through this and BECAUSE of this, I want to complete this project more than ever for them.

Also, just being able to release this game for fellow adventure game lovers will be an ambitiion filled, and who knows? I might be able to make more games, and do this for a living.

The beauty of this project is bringing to life the characters in my fictional band The Helmholtz Resonators through the genre of point & Click adventure games, a genre that has and forever will be my total passion when it comes to gaming.

I regularly back all kinds of these games on Kickstarter, so it seemed a no brainer to combine my love of music and games and create my very own point and click adventure!
"We got to know James after backing his Kickstarter campaign, and his passion for what is a very personal project is truly infectious. We are delighted to be working together to help James deliver on his dream."
 - Rob Hewson, CEO & Creative Director of Huey Games Ltd.

"The partnership with Huey Games is perfect for me. The Mystery of Woolley Mountain is my game and my story, but Huey are really helping me to take it to the next level in terms of quality, and to reach more platforms at the same time."
 - James Lightfoot, Founder of Lightfoot Bros.

Hewson Consultants Ltd 1980 - 1991

Throughout the 1980s Andrew Hewson built up a reputation for producing some of the finest games of the era, publishing smash-hit titles such as Avalon, Paradroid, Uridium, Nebulus, Exolon, Cybernoid, Quazatron, Stormlord and Zynaps from legendary programmers like Steve Turner, Andrew Braybrook, Raffaele Cecco and John Phillips.

The history of Hewson Consultants stretches all the way back to 1980, when Andrew Hewson purchased a ZX80 micro-computer and began to write programs for it, including some simple games.

He wrote notes about what he had learnt on an old typewriter and turned them into a humble book called Hints & Tips for the ZX80 which was only available via mail order. The success of his first book led to a sequel and an opportunity to become a columnist for Sinclair User magazine, in which Andrew wrote his monthly Hewson's Helpline column for the best part of a decade.

More books followed and other programmers began to send their games in to Hewson Consultants, starting it on the path to becoming one of the most celebrated British game producers of the period.

Hints & Tips for Videogame Pioneers

In 2013 Andrew & Rob Hewson ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for a book called Hints & Tips for Videogame Pioneers.
